History

Back in 1983, Mostafizur Rahman, also commonly called by the name "Rahman Bhai", began working as a Travel Agent and Guide for trips in Thailand. He would take care of his clients from picking them up at the airport, to supervising them on various attraction sites, and eventually escorting them back to the airport. He's experienced in this industry and what Thailand has to offer.

Years later, Mostafizur started his own Bespoke custom tailoring store. Alongside providing nice suits to his clients and friends, his clients often ask for best places to stay or things to do. As a result, in 1990, combined with the experience he had, he started his own Travel Agency, Dhaka Travel Bangkok, in Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand.

Aside from lovely couples looking for a romantic trip, beautiful families needing a vacation, or a group of friends wanting some excitement, Dhaka Travel Bangkok has serviced a few notable clientele groups that has helped us grow immensely.

The Dhaka Club

The Dhaka Club is an organization based in Dhaka consisting of like-minded successful individuals that come together to contribute and participate in social work and development of Dhaka. One of the events they host or participate in are Cricket tournaments. Various other clubs like Thai Club or Sri Lanka Club, in addition to Dhaka Club, would come together to compete in a sports tournament, and at times the tournament is hosted in Bangkok, Thailand. The entire team and staff members of Dhaka Club ranging up to 30-40 people would all come to Thailand for their main event. But alongside their main event, they want to experience Thailand as well. That is where Dhaka Travel Bangkok comes in, we handle all their travel needs, from flights to accommodations to attractions.

Back in the day, exporting and importing business were booming, especially for Dhaka, Bangladesh as the exporter. Kutub Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of BGMEA (Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association), a renown figure in Dhaka and industry of exporting goods, would come to Thailand and host his business meetings with prospects from all over the world looking to buy the goods. Mostafizur Rahman, as the face of Dhaka Travel Bangkok, would handle all the travel needs and hospitality of these individuals partaking in the business meetings.

His clients often asked him "where should we stay when we're here?" or "where should we go visit while we're here?" Seeing his clients wanted his help, he decided to offer the one-stop-shop solution for them: help with all your travel needs. So we are built upon the trust and relationship we have with our clients from the very beginning, literally.
